In the winter, I am a dedicated eater of various roasted root vegetables served with various sauces (Aloo Chat Inspired Oven Fries and Oven Yam Fries with Miso Gravy).  This kind of food is easy, satisfying, warming, nourishing and delicious.

I make this tart a lot.  It like to serve it to guests with a Spicy Beet Salad with Horseradish and maybe some duck pate and radishes.  I like to take  the leftovers to work for lunch the next day.
